Rookie idol group, AlphaBAT has arrived in Malaysia for their first Malaysian showcase.
Organized by New Pro-Star, AlphaBAT will be having showcases in Kuala Lumpur and
Johor Bahru from April 24th until the 3rd of May.
AlphaBAT is also in the search for the next member, by having auditions here, giving
opportunities to the talents here.
Upon arriving to the press conference, the boys look dashing in their handsome outfits,
also sporting a yellow ribbon in their outfit for the Yellow Ribbon Campaign.
As this is their first time overseas, they were asked what is it like to be in Malaysia, and
member F:ie said that they were excited to see fans who greeted them at the airport and
he’s looking forward to their stay here.

Q: Have you tried any local foods?
BETA : My friends said Satay is delicious so I would like to try Satay! I would also like
to try the rice that is on a banana leaf (Nasi Lemak).
BETA then continued on saying its their first time here and they introduced themselves
one by one,in Korean and even Bahasa Melayu!
Q: Why do the members’ name starts with B and not A?
BETA : Because A is for our fans! (Alpha)
Q: Is there any place you would like to go in Malaysia?
CODE : I have researched about Kota Kinabalu and I would like to go there
EPSILON: KLCC
BETA : KLCC? What is the reason??
IOTA : Because we heard that one of the building was built by Korea and one by Japan.
Q: Do you know any celebrities in Malaysia?
JETA : I don’t really know any Malaysian singers but we know Michelle Yeoh,the
actress, and shoe designer Jimmy Choo. Gamma and I used to be a model and we are
interested in it.
Q: GAMMA and JETA used to be a model before joing AlphaBAT, what is the
difference in these two fields?
GAMMA: Actually, JETA is my modelling teacher, my height is quite short as a model,
but as an artist,I am tall!
Q: Who is the most handsome member in AlphaBAT?
BETA, CODE,GAMMA, HETA AND IOTA all raised their hand!
Q: AlphaBAT is searching for a new member through auditions so what is your
expectation towards the new member?
BETA: Each of us has strong characteristics so I hope our 10th member will be skilled in
singing, performing and more. We hope that the 10th member will be a Malaysian
representative.
Q: Because there are 9 Korean members and the new member will be Malaysian, do
you think it will be a culture shock and will be able to get along with the members?
BETA: We are not worried about this because AlphaBAT members are open minded
and this is our very first oversea appearance and we have the confidence to get along
well with the new member.
Q: AlphaBAT members’ name are arranged according to the alphabetical order as well
as their age.Is it necessary to find a member that is younger than Jeta and must he be
the “K” in AlphaBAT?
BETA: Korea and Malaysia have different culture.In Korea,age is important but in
Malaysia we are all like brothers,so we don’t really mind the age. We would like to find a
nice person that can get along with us.
Q: Will the new 10th member be a part of AlphaBAT permanently or just temporary?
BETA : If AlphaBAT comes to Malaysia, he will perform with us. If he is able to come
to Korea and perform,he will join us. Not only in Malaysia, but we are also doing
auditions in Thailand,Japan, China and more. In the future, we would like to find more
members and even considering to have 25 members, from B to Z, from different
countries!
Q: Do the members still call I:OTA as YODA?
IOTA: That is not true! I am not Yoda, truthfully, I am a handsome person!
After the Q&A session ended, they posed for photo opportunities and also with the
sponsors involved. They also thanked everyone for their interest and asked the support
from fans as they would like to be a global group and will continue on doing their best.

I was kinda sad because Yeongjin looked so grumpy throughout the press conference,
but towards the end, he started being all smiley and
keep making cute expressions XD
After the press conference, we headed upstairs to one of the rooms for refreshments.
We ended up staying longer than the rest, while I browse through the Korean songs lol
So,we finally decided to head on out, realising that we were the only ones there lol,
the rest of the medias has already left XD
So as we were walking out, one of the room was playing APINK's Mr Chu,
and BAM! We saw Hayong in the room and was freaking out a little bit XD
So we decided to wait downstairs.
The staircase has a huge mirror on the wall, so we can see who was coming down.
AND ALPHABAT WAS COMING DOWN.
Each of us were panicking because we weren't ready hahah
But all is well haha managed to get Iota's , Beta's and Code's attention XD
and then I saw Yeongjin..called him and he waved ㅠㅠ
and we waited until they entered the elevator and left :3
They were really nice, I kept calling Yeongjin and waved and smile ㅠㅠ
