REACHOUT 2014!
This year my friends and I signed up for the convention where there are speakers
who had contributed some wonderfulness to this world.
Andy Riley who is the CEO and co-founder for Earth Hour, Efren Penaflorida founder of
Dynamic Teen Company (DTC) in Philippines,Rob Dyer founder for Skate4cancer and
Scott Hammell a magician.
The convention was really nice, it's very refreshing to hear about how these people
has made a difference in the world.
Personally, the talk from Efren Penaflorida was really inspiring,
and I even found myself getting teary by his words.
First of all,he has a thick Filipino English accent which I LOVE XD
So basically company called Dynamic Teen Company (DTC) which offers Filipino youth
an alternative to street gangs through education.
There are many children in Philippines that were abandoned and homeless,
so Efren, or known as Kuya F by his volunteers and children,
is a teacher by profession and an advocate of education for disadvantaged
children in the Philippines. Hearing his story is really heartwarming and
inspiring as he helped these children to a better life.
DTC pioneered the idea of "pushcart classroom" or "kariton klasrum" as they said it,
where they prepared pushcarts that are filled with school supplies and are used
on Saturdays to recreate school settings for the children found in inconvenient
locations such as cemeteries and trash dumps.
He also told us a story about young boy who lived in the trash dump,
who was pushed into a pile of burning fire which harmed his skin badly.
So Kuya F found him and educated him and now he's basically following in
the steps of Kuya F,helping and educating younger children who are at a
disadvantage because of their living conditions.
It was really breathtaking, I'm so happy there are people like these in this world
and it is really an eye-opening speech.
As Kuya F said, no one is too poor to help other.
It was truly an inspiration :')
Rob Dyer is from Skate4Cancer, which he decided to channel all of his emotions into one big idea,
a skate marathon that started on the west coast of United States and culminated
in his hometown near Toronto to prove that anything can be done with enough determination.
S4C was born of love and a dream,Rob has lost many dear people to him due to cancer.
His journey was fascinating as he has skated millions of miles.
Though many obstacles came his way such as leg injuries and even struck by a car once,
but that doesn't stop his motivation.
Scott Hammell has been entertaining professionally since 1998.
or his talk,he needed a few volunteers for his act,
which he performed by asking questions and psycho analysing the volunteers
lol it was quite entertaining XD
After the talk is done,
the youtubers came out for a while to meet with the
fans and interacted with some of them!
Jinnyboy came out first and my friends and I were
holding up LEDs of JunCurryAhn and Jinnyboy acknowledged us!haha
A few lucky fans were picked to go up on stage and were able to 'selfies' with them CRIES
David Choi and Ahn Junsung!

And then we were asked to leave the hall so they can prepare for the stages coming up next,
which are performances by a few local artists!
Dash was up and I had no idea Darren Ashley is now in Dash and when he came out I flipped oh my god,
The last time (and first time) I saw him was in Ryan Higa's Fanmeet in 2012
so I was pretty excited to see him again because he is amazing!
For the finale of their performance,
one by one those three goes up to the drum set and began playing the crap out of the drums
it was bloody amazing oh my goodness
I forgot his name,but hes from the Philippines and he sings in Malay hehe

He performed Wedding dress, 시간이거슬러,Bad Boy, Im Yours and one more song I don't know XD
He was pretty shy though XD Different from what he seemed on videos lol
but hes cute as a button!
and his performance was really nice!
Up next is Jason Chen! I saw him last year,
so I'm so excited to see him again because his voice is beautiful ;_;

Up next were Kina Grannis, Madilyn Bailey and David Choi
But due to my old age, I was literally dying in there,so I had to go out T_T
Got me some refreshments and watch the show from a screen outside the hall ^_^
While we were watching from the screen which was located near the backstage door,
suddenly Jun came out to see the screen for a bit lol
After the show ended, we waited for them at the van to send them off!
