Enrichment Program at the zoo

so in case if no one knows,I've been interning at Zoo Negara for two weeks now.

I know,it sounds amazing right?Its okay I guess.

Since the entrance fee is expensive,I've got to go to the zoo everyday for free hehe

Sometimes I just don't have any work to do so I would just walk around in the zoo ^_^

My colleague arranges programs for school kids,kind of like a guide and providing other activities too.

So far,I've joined to programs and its pretty cool.

There was an enrichment program today,where participants prepare food for certain animals.

So I was there,in charge of taking photographs :D

The foods that were prepared by them are meat hidden in boxes and pumpkins for the tigers and lions,Fruits for the tapirs and Nasi Lemak wrapped in banana leaves for the elephants 

(yes,I was pretty suprised the elephants eat nasi lemak lol)

YES OH MY GOD!

I went inside the tiger's and lion's den. 

That was the coolest thing ever!

while I was walking into the cage,the animals were locked inside a room and there's 

window bars and I got so close to the lion! omg *__*

and while I was walking out,the tigers has been released and the cub saw us and ran towards us

and peeked through the bars 

oh my god I just can't *___* 

so cute!

It was pretty exhausting though,because the weather was so hot and I'm fasting ~_~

But it was a cool experience,I mean come on I went inside the lion's den lol

and I also went inside the giraffe's and elephant's place to give some banana leaves to the keepers.

I got so close to a baby giraffe and held out my hand and it was trying to reach me omg *__*

And I also tried to speak to people more,so I hope these programs kinda help me in taling to people

since I have an issue with talking to strangers lol XD
